Acceptable Use
Acceptable Use Policy
These rules keep service quality high and protect every customer on the platform. They apply to everyone who uses the Service, including on public portal pages.
1. Seats and access
- One seat = one human. Never share credentials. Period.
- Do not create accounts with false identities or disposable emails to multiply free or trial access.
- Do not use public portal pages to give your internal team functionality that requires a seat. Public pages are for your customers, field contacts, and visitors — and they draw from your public credit pool either way.
- Do not rotate one seat across multiple people. Reassignment is for personnel changes, not scheduling shifts of users through one login.
2. Automation and volume
- No bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated traffic against the Service or any public portal page without our written permission.
- No bulk-firing AI features (chat floods, voice call loops, pipeline hammering). Human-paced use only unless your plan explicitly includes an API or automation allowance.
- Usage allowances are protection limits, not targets. Sustained ceiling-riding that pattern-matches automation gets reviewed.
- No load testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning without a written agreement. Report vulnerabilities to security@volty.ai; we will not pursue good-faith researchers who report responsibly and give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before disclosure.
3. Tenancy and platform integrity
- Never attempt to access, probe, or infer another customer's data. Tenant isolation is enforced and monitored; attempts are grounds for immediate suspension and termination.
- No reverse engineering or copying the Service, and no building a competing knowledge-capture product using access to the Service.
- No reselling, sublicensing, or white-labeling access without a partnership agreement.
4. Content rules
- No unlawful content, no content you lack rights to publish, no malware, no harassment or hate content on public pages.
- Safety-critical content (procedures, briefings, training) published to your portal or public pages must be reviewed by your qualified person before operational use (see the AI and Safety Content Disclaimer).
- You are the publisher of your public portal pages. We may remove public content that creates legal exposure for us, with notice.
5. How we enforce
We respond in order, scaled to severity:
- In-product nudge (soft cap notices, warnings).
- Throttle or pause the specific feature (hard caps, pool exhaustion).
- Suspend the seat or portal pending review — we tell you what we saw and what resolves it; target resolution within 5 business days.
- Terminate for material or repeated violations.
Security attacks, tenant-isolation attempts, and unlawful content skip the ladder and go straight to suspension. We reserve all of these rights even where usage is below a stated cap, when the pattern indicates sharing, automation, or abuse.
